About

What I do:

Rescue and rehome animals from Romania, that would otherwise live short unhappy lives.

Why I do it:

Saving animals is very close to my heart and is a passion of mine. It is such a wonderful and amazing feeling knowing that an animal is now safe and is loved, happy and healthy.

Process:

The animals are rescued in Romania and are taken to the vet for vaccinations, flea treatment, de-worming and anything that requires attention in preparation for travel.

They come to Guernsey with a full European pet passport having had their rabies and core vaccine and are microchipped and disease tested where appropriate and often spayed / neutered depending on age.

After arriving on the island they are checked by a local vet, then and only then I work with the animal to find their forever home.

Adoption:

Any prospective adopters will have a homecheck carried out and we will meet up for a walk or home visit with the dog / cat, this may require a couple of visits. If all parties are happy (including our two legged or four legged friend) then an adoption contract is completed and an adoption fee of £595 (dogs) £325 (cats) is paid. The animal is officially adopted and their new happy and fulfilled life begins.

Important Note:

Adopting an animal is a long term commitment physically, emotionally and financially. It requires a lot of consideration and should not be entered into lightly.
